Adhesive Questions

What is hypoallergenic adhesive?

We use hypoallergenic adhesive in our pad (or reservoir) patches.   These patches can be worn on the skin for up to 7 days when properly applied.

Hypoallergenic adhesive is less likely to cause allergic reactions compared to a non-hypoallergenic adhesive.   It contains fewer potential allergens.

What is medical-grade adhesive?

We use medical-grade acrylic adhesive in our monolithic patches.   The adhesive is designed to adhere for 24-36 hours as long as the patch has been properly applied and is not submersed in water for an extended period of time.

This adhesive is FDA compliant and designed for direct skin contact.

How long should I wear my patch?

That depends on a variety of factors, including which type of patch you’re wearing and how much active ingredient is in the patch.    When you create your custom manufactured patch, you will decide what your end-user’s experience should be, and that will help determine the choices you make along the way to generating your dream!

Can I keep putting my patch back on one spot?

Please don’t!  Even though our patches are designed for extended wear, the skin is designed to refresh itself, and even the least-sensitive epidermis will get tired of being covered constantly.
